Q: Who is Adapt Fitness for?

A: We specialize in working with people recovering from injury, navigating chronic pain, or returning to movement after medical care, pregnancy, or extended time off.

A: Every session is built on assessment, anatomy, and client history. We don’t use generic workouts. Melissa customizes every plan to your needs, with a strong focus on education and joint-friendly movement.

A: Melissa is a Muscle Health & Exercise Specialist, not a physical therapist. Her work complements PT by extending recovery and strengthening functional patterns.

A: Yes! Virtual training is available and just as personalized. We’ll use camera setup and clear cueing to make sure you’re supported remotely.

A: Private and Semi-private sessions are offered in 30- or 50-minute formats. Group classes (if active) vary by schedule.

A: Yes – behavior-based coaching is available as an add-on. It’s flexible, supportive, and integrates with your training goals.

A: All clients start with a Discovery Call. This ensures we’re aligned on goals and that you’re placed in the right program.

A: No. Adapt Fitness is not insurance-approved. However, some clients use HSA/FSA benefits – check with your provider.

A: Comfortable clothing, a water bottle, and a mat (for in-person or virtual sessions). For virtual sessions, wear colors that contrast with your mat/background so Melissa can see your movement clearly.
